Let us observe a moment of silence for the passing of my dear Sandford Series No. 30000 Fine Point Quick Drying Sharpie.
It served me bravely, covering several pictures in a shroud of darkness but now it's time is passed. requested by  who wanted me to surprise him. I was puzzled, even confused, and most of all... lazy. So I re-asked him and he said I could draw one of his characters so I picked the oddest one of them all!original >> [link] There are many small details in this character. I chose to draw his face because I just liked how it looks. Sharpie, markers, solid green background added digitally. 1.5 hrs |

the original draft had the crow's entire body in but then it covered too much of the face (especially when the wing overlaps the dark side of the face) so I decided to move it more toward the side

I was lucky because it ran out after I finished all the solid black parts, that's why the shading and hatching is done in thinner sharpie
